About Us

Jyothi Saree Mandir stands as a prominent wholesale dealer of handloom silk sarees, specializing in Kanchi, Gadwal, and lightweight Pattu sarees. Founded on the ethos of Padmashali Chenetha Weavers family tradition, the company has a rich legacy of craftsmanship and dedication to delivering exquisite silk sarees.

Founding Story:

The journey of Jyothi Saree Mandir began with the vision and perseverance of its founder, Nakka Narsimha. With over three decades of experience in the textiles industry, Narsimha laid the foundation of the company in 1995, coinciding with the birth of his daughter, N. Jyothi.

Starting from a modest one-room space spanning 500 square feet in Uppuguda, Hyderabad, Narsimha ventured into entrepreneurship with minimal investment but boundless determination.

His mantra was simple: "Do Business with No Expenses." Overcoming numerous challenges and adversities, the company flourished, evolving from a 30,000 INR investment to a thriving enterprise with a turnover of 12 crores.

With the help of chits and bank loans, Jyothi Saree Mandir expanded its presence in 2001 by opening a 2000 square foot new store in Uppuguda Shivajinagar.

By 2005, the company's turnover had reached 3 crores.

In 2008, Nakka Srihari, son of Nakka Narsimha, joined the business, bringing fresh perspectives and a commitment to uphold the family legacy.

Adaptation and Growth:

Under Srihari's leadership, the company embraced digital transformation, venturing into online retail in 2010 with the launch of its e-commerce website. Leveraging the power of the internet, the company witnessed exponential growth, doubling its turnover within five years.

Despite facing numerous challenges, including the COVID-19 pandemic, Jyothi Saree Mandir persevered and adapted, joining Business Network International (BNI) in 2020 to enhance its professional network.

Innovative Strategies:

In the wake of the pandemic, the company redefined its business strategy, focusing on expanding its online presence. By leveraging social media platforms and collaborating with influencers, Jyothi Saree Mandir reached over 20,000 online users globally.

With a keen eye for creativity and customer engagement, the company amassed a loyal following, exceeding 50,000 followers across Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube.

Through organic promotion and strategic networking, Jyothi Saree Mandir achieved a remarkable turnover of 12 crores in the fiscal year 2023–24. With an average of 10+ online orders daily and offline store sales averaging 5 lakhs, the company continues to thrive in the ever-evolving landscape of the textile industry.
