Three Decades of Woven Excellence
Rooted in Tradition, Built on Grit
The journey of Jyothi Saree Mandir began in 1995, when founder Nakka Narsimha — carrying the Padmashali Chenetha Weavers' family heritage — opened a modest 500 sq ft store in Uppuguda, Hyderabad.
Named after his newborn daughter Jyothi, the venture started with just ₹30,000 and boundless determination. Overcoming countless challenges, it has grown into a thriving enterprise with a turnover of ₹12 crores.
A Legacy Woven Through Time
Where Heritage Meets Modern Vision
Founded on the Padmashali Chenetha Weavers' family tradition, Jyothi Saree Mandir is a living heritage — passed with purpose from one generation to the next.
Today, under the ownership of Srihari Nakka — proprietor under GST as part of Jyothi Saree Centre — the brand marries deep-rooted craftsmanship with the agility of a modern enterprise.
Offline store sales average ₹5 lakhs monthly, while online orders grow daily — a brand that honours its roots while reaching for the future.
Adapting Without Losing the Weave

By collaborating with regional influencers and building authentic content on Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube — reaching over 20,000 global customers organically.
Pandemic Pivot
When COVID-19 challenged retail, the company doubled down on digital presence and joined BNI — turning adversity into an opportunity to strengthen reach and networks.
